Hello People [25 May 2007|06:29pm]
New Isabella Pics
Lots Of Isabella PicsCollapse )

I also had my 19 week ultrasounds done on wednesday. Everything with the baby is checking out good, heartbeat was 171 when the baby was jumping all over the place. Measuring at 9 ozs and right on schedule with the due date of Oct. 18th. The results are in and Isabella is going to have a baby brother! Nick and I have agreed on a name of Mateo Paul. I wanted to name the child after my dad "paul".. he doesn't like that name but he wanted a hispanic name, which I didn't like because most of them sound way too hispanic for 1/4 mexican child. I came across a name I didn't mind, so he agreed on Paul. I still felt we should agree on the name 100% even if we don't get back together because he is the father.

Baby - 1st Prenatal Visit [20 Apr 2007|11:46pm]
Had my first prenatal checkup yesterday. I am already 14wks 2 days now, I know I should have seen someone already but going through the separation/move and getting settled here has been a task and it was the first I have been able to.

I loved everyone in the office, the nurses, the u/s lady, and the doctor. They all made you feel comfortable, like family. Not a clinic/patient feeling at all. My doctor looks like that lou guy that played hulk, his arm muscles were about to burst through his scrub top, haha.. However, I had to have a papsmear of course and it didn't hurt at all.. he was very gentle. I like the doctor and the people in the clinic so much better than the one I had in AL with Isabella. I was happy about that because although it was a great clinic with a great doctor it still felt like a doctor/patient thing..not like this. Plus, it was cool getting to have my 1st appointment while my sister was in the next room getting her 1st prenatal appointment too. :) Although she found out during her u/s that she is actually only at 6 weeks instead of 9! ..which means she found out she was pregnant at around 3 weeks. I liked being only about a month apart, now it's nearly 2 months!

Baby was very active during the u/s.. waving, moving it's little legs, it was so great. I was in with my sis then she was in with me right after. She thought she would be seeing a blob but instead she only got to see a little speck, but she really enjoyed seeing my baby moving around and all. The baby even flipped us off, the u/s tech said that it was the youngest she has had flip her off, haha.. you could see it so clearly on the screen but the pictures didn't turn out so well. :( .. I actually got a tear in my eye this time. With Isaella's first u/s I was still in the shock of actually being pregnant, and she also slept the entire time. When I found out this time, although going through a lot. I swore I would enjoy the pregnancy from day 1 no matter what happens.. and I am.

Oh, and the heartbeat was 161

It's been a while.. [04 Mar 2007|02:41pm]
I decided to post for the first time in a while.

Nick took Isabella and I to our first hockey game Thursday night. The game itself sucked pretty bad and Huntsville Havocs have been a good team this year from what I've heard up until now. *shrugs* It was pretty scarring. hah
I myself didn't get into it very much. I personally think the non sense violence/anger is silly. I like sports, for the sport itself. Like football, you know they get angry at what happens during a game but they would never put the game on the line for a little fight. However, I know most people who like hockey like it for the fights so more power to them. Isabella had a good time though, every time someone started yelling, clapping, or any ruckus at all she would start blabbering and clapping her hands, it was adorable. I enjoyed watching her. The box we were sitting in all were drawn to get free popcorn which was kind of cool then we won the $25 gift certificate to shogun(japanese restaurant) during the chuck a puck. We spent $10 in pucks so that isn't bad at all. You toss them on to the ice from where you are sitting and try to be the closest to certain prizes. It was nice to get out of the house and to get Isabella out, it was nice.

Anyways, you can't have a post without pictures..

[26 Nov 2006|12:10pm]
I had Isabella's 1st birthday party while in Meridian,MS for thanksgiving. I have never made a cake or icing from scratch and have never decorated a cake. However, I decided to make Isabella's 1st cake 100% by hand. Hours and shaky hands later, it was finished.

[11 Nov 2006|03:12pm]
We all went to gatlinburg for a few days because Nick's mom and stepdad were there visiting and they wanted to celebrate Isabella's first birthday while they were close by. I've never been there before, it was very beautiful. We of course did lots of shopping for Isabella. Especially at the book store that was closing. We ended up buying $50 worth of books for her. Some for her birthday, some for christmas and some for now. We also took her to the aquarium but she slept through most of it so I didn't get to get any pictures. I did get a picture of her in the giant chair in the ripley's believe it or not museum.

I can't believe my baby girl is going to be a year old in 2 days!

On to some pics..

Finished! [04 Nov 2006|06:52pm]
I am finished knitting Isabella's hello kitty hat just in time for the colder weather! The funny look on her face is because she wanted to smile but she had goldfish in her mouth.

The bows are so that I can switch them out depending on what she is wearing that day.

Random [30 Oct 2006|08:03pm]
Nick and I went onto wirefly to look at different cell phone deals. We wanted 2 phones so that is what we were looking for in the deal. We got a shared plan through t-mobile, which is what I've had for years but with it we were able to get 2 free razors, gray for him, pink for me. with 2 free blue tooth headsets all for $10. After we send off the rebates we'll be paid $100.

I've been working on Isabella's Hello kitty hat i'm knitting. I've finished the hat itself and now have to do the eyes and nose. I put it on her earlier tonight and it was so freaking cute. I'll have to take a picture when it's finished.

Yesterday the cats were chasing each other, and just running around the house very fast and crazy like. Isabella was eating it up. Everytime they ran by her or pounced each other she would laugh harder and harder. She was laughing so hard at one point not only did she fall over but I thought she was going to lose her breath.

My baby girl will be a year old in exactly 2 weeks!!

[07 Oct 2006|08:43pm]

I used some of one of the $200 visa gift cards I won for this hippo walker that I wanted to get Isabella. It also gobbles the blocks and tosses them up when you run over them. She wouldn't mess with it much yesterday but today she has loved it. She hated when she got stuck though, like the last picture.

[28 Sep 2006|12:32pm]
It has been a while since I posted any pictures of my little monkey so I thought I would do that today.

She now walks with holding only one hand. She stands on her own without any support for a good 10 - 15 secs, sometimes longer. She did take a few steps all by herself a couple of weeks ago. She plays patty cake and can also say hey and byebye while waving. It's actually either HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYy or byebyebyebye. She also got 10 teeth finally a few weeks ago, got them all within 2 days, I believe she has some more coming in on the side recently. Now, on to the pics..

Isabella had her 9 month check up today. Everything looked great and they did a blood test to check to see if she were anemic, that came back fine.

She is now 28 5/8th inches and 16lbs,9ozs.

I'm impressed.. [19 Jul 2006|10:18pm]
I started using the cleaning products through the company that allows me to work from home. I already knew that their products were enviromental/kid safe and I thought that was great. However, I did not know they would work as well as they do and I'm saving a LOT of money! Here are some examples of the cleaning products.

The tub n tile test - I found an old nasty penny and dipped the end in tub n tile for 5 seconds.. before and after pictures..

and here is a soda stain from before I met nick, over 2 years ago. I have tried every stain cleaning, spot treatment out there. I have tried shampooing it and steam cleaning it. NOTHING has touched it even a tiny bit. So, of course it isn't completely gone but what the Sol U Mel did in 5 minutes, I was VERY impressed.

7m pics [19 Jul 2006|07:31pm]
They screwed up on the 7months smile by wire and didn't put in the order after I paid for it. They gave me a number to call and gave me all the extra pics they order in case you want them for free. I called the number and they were still able to smile by wire the photos, yay. Although i'm looking forward to the 8months. They are SO freaking adorable, you'll see! Also a peek-a-boo pic. :)

I have never.. [10 Jul 2006|04:16pm]
..met a child like the one I babysat today. Normally if a child is uncomfortable with strange places and people they will cry. The 16m old I baby sat today for the first time didn't. She just stood there, not even looking around much. I then sat her down and she just sat there, i tried to get her to play with different toys, she wasn't interested. I thought maybe she is tired, so i lay her down and she just laid straight staring at the ceiling and at me oddly, not moving. Finally i sit her back up and hand her her juice , she drank a lot, then tried handing her the crackers. She wouldn't take the first 2 out of my hand, I had to put them on her lap, she finally took the 3rd one. After a little more than an hour(about 10 min before her mom came to pick her up) she finally started playing with the keyboard a little, and actually got on her hands and knees to get the singing bear. Maybe next monday will go better. She seems so sweet, but I just didn't know what to do with her.
